having a little fun- part 3

happy friday peeps! hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving, full of yummy food and family and lots of pie!

So far I've shared with you the main protagonist, and antagonist from my WIP. I've had so much fun searching online for pictures of what my characters look like in my head.
If you have missed those posts- check them out, Tessa and Lucifer.

Today, I have the pleasure of presenting to you Noah.

Noah, oh Noah.

Firstly, my friend was over helping me search for this boy and she was the one that found him. I have no idea who he is, I think she might have just googled *gorgeousness* or *make me weak in the knees with your stare* or something like it.
Then, I showed it to the husband and he laughed, he said the boy is probably about 15, but we'll just ignore that...

Let me tell you a little about Noah.. well, first, let me tell you what Noah is not-

Noah is not a BAD boy.

Nope, which is interesting because I LOVE bad boys. I do, I do.

Noah is gentle, and caring and he has one seriously messed up past. I can't share that information with you just yet; you'll have to wait for the book to be published ;) but when you do find out? you'll want to take him into your arms and.. and make it all better, hehe!

but because of what he has been through, he feels like he has to protect Tessa from the world. And what Tessa really needs is to learn to do that for herself.... I'm sure they'll figure it out. I hope.

I spent some time with Noah yesterday, and not only am I discovering his voice, but I think he might just be my favorite character, and not because he's so yummy looking.. okay, maybe his yumminess does have something to do with it.. but because there's just so much goodness in him.

The poor boy, I had to leave him in the middle of some serious distress yesterday to go do the whole holiday celebrating thing...

Tell me, what do you love most about your characters?

  1. Oh my, he's beautiful :-)

As for my characters, poor Charlie is just trying to do the right thing by a woman he's supposed to be protecting but circumstances keep getting in the way. I love the fact that he's a trier :-)

  2. I love Kella's strength and I love that Asher isn't smooth and cool all the time, but he really is an awesome guy. Oh, and I want to know what distress you are putting Noah through.

  3. @Sarah- he is beautiful, isn't he? poor Charlie, I feel bad for him and I don't even know him yet. Tell him to keep trying... does he get the girl at the end?

@Jenny- poor Noah has had it rough, and meeting Tessa brings it all up when he just wants to forget... muahahahah!
don't you worry, you'll get those chapters. I'm gonna spend the rest of the afternoon revising so I can send you some more stuff :)

  7. Awww! I love Noah! And I love that you have a real picture to go with the one in your head. I've never done that before! I feel like I'm really missing out here.

And I have to say about what I love most about my characters: probably their goodness, too. Even if it's under a few layers. :)

  11. Characters are what make a story. I love characters that are real (have flaws, conflicting emotions, underlying issues). If they are too perfect, it's hard to fall in love with them. Can't wait to get to know yours!
