this has been the view from my front door since Sunday.beautiful isn't it?
except that we haven't had power since Sunday.
and we're being told it could be another 4-5 days before we get it back.
thankfully, we've been able to stay at my in-laws.
I feel for all the families with little ones who have nowhere else to
go.
But it also means that I don't have my computer, where my WIP is... humph!
I have limited internet access here, which I'm not really complaining since we at least have heat and lights, but I miss my daily routine of writing, visiting your blogs...
the kids are also a little out of sorts...
but they are at least enjoying their little visit with grandma and grandpa...
I had also been thinking about maybe doing NaNoWriMo this year, but using it to finish my WIP... that's obviously not happening.... double humph!
I know I haven't posted any pics of my little guys.... that's about to change...

Meet Uno and Kai...
these two monsters are my life!
Wow, that is beautiful! Bummer about the power, though. It's hard to believe that's the weather in some parts of the country when it's still over 100 degrees here in the Phoenix area. Send some of that cold this way, won't you?
ReplyDeletepretty photos. so do the kids get days off from school? That's got to be a plus, right? (for them at least).
ReplyDelete@Susan it's actually not that cold here either, for October, mother nature is just messing with us I think... we usually don't get snow until late November or even December.
ReplyDelete@Fairview- yes they have cancelled school for the whole week since pretty much the whole town is out of power
That is so pretty! Sorry about the no power thing though. Your kids are scrumptious! Happy snow day :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. I have some crit partners lost in the storm too. Beautiful, but not great to have the power out. Glad you have somewhere safe to be. I have a boy named Kai too! How cool is that? Love that name. Love Uno too!
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous view! Sorry about the power, though. I can't imagine that would be much fun at all.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I'm glad you were able to find a place to keep warm!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain! We lost our power Saturday afternoon and have been staying with my parents since. I drove by my house today and they haven't even started fixing the down wires/picking up the fallen trees. What a disaster!
ReplyDeleteStay warm!
Your boys are lovely! Sorry to hear about the problems the weather is causing for you, but you're right, it's beautiful!
